On the morning of April 24, the functional forces of Ward 6, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province are still actively coordinating with functional agencies and family to search for Mr. HT (born in 1945), residing in Ward 6, Da Lat City, who was swept away by flood waters.

According to initial information, on the afternoon of April 23, heavy rain occurred in Da Lat city, water from upstream rushed to To Ngoc Van stream, in Ward 6. At this time, Mr. HT unfortunately slipped and fell into the stream, and was swept away by the water .

Upon receiving the news, the authorities and the victim’s family organized a search along To Ngoc Van stream towards Cam Ly waterfall and Lam Ha district. As of 10am this morning, the victim had not yet been found.

In recent days, the first rains of the season have appeared in Da Lat city. Some areas often have localized heavy rains, water in low-lying areas, canals and streams rise and flow rapidly, affecting crops and endangering people.
