Looking back at the work results in March, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh stated that the agencies of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Office have completed a huge amount of work, with many highlights in both Party work, government work, and organizational and personnel work.
Notably, the National Assembly bloc has completed the inspection program of Inspection Team No. 1908 of the Politburo led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The inspection results show that the National Assembly bloc has completed its tasks well, which was highly appreciated by the General Secretary.
On behalf of the National Assembly leadership, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh praised the sense of responsibility and dedication of officials and civil servants of the National Assembly agencies who have made efforts to fulfill their tasks well, contributing to effectively serving the activities of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee; promptly institutionalizing guidelines and policies, and bringing Party and State documents into life.
“The National Assembly Chairman especially commended the Committee on Law and Justice for submitting to the Politburo projects and tasks related to amending the Constitution and perfecting the institutions. The National Assembly Chairman also especially commended the National Assembly Deputies' Work Committee for urgently accelerating the completion of the project on reforming the mechanism for electing National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2030 term; proposing comprehensive amendments to the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels. In addition, the National Assembly Chairman also commended the National Assembly Office for its many contributions in coordinating work with National Assembly agencies in the past time,” said the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.
Noting a number of key tasks in the coming time, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh suggested that the agencies of the National Assembly and the Office of the National Assembly focus on preparing contents for the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; meetings of the National Assembly Standing Committee and performing tasks of legislation, supervision, and decision on important issues. Accepting the Politburo's opinions to continue perfecting the Projects and Reports serving the 11th Central Conference; strengthening coordination between the agencies of the National Assembly and the Office of the National Assembly; continuing to advise on the implementation of amendments and supplements to the Resolutions serving the work of reorganizing the apparatus of the agencies of the National Assembly and the Office of the National Assembly according to plan.
In preparing for the Ninth Session, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly noted that the agencies of the National Assembly and the Office of the National Assembly need to seriously and promptly implement the conclusions at the monthly briefings of key leaders of the Party, the State and the National Assembly leaders, the Resolutions, Directives, Decisions and Conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat; properly implement the Conclusion of the National Assembly Chairman at the meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee giving opinions on the preparation of the Ninth Session, in which, paying attention to the work not yet included in the list of contents of the Session's program...
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also suggested that the National Assembly Office coordinate with the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, the National Assembly Office, and the advisory bodies of the National Assembly Party Committee to actively implement digital transformation in the National Assembly.
Previously, reporting on the work results in March, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Pham Dinh Toan said that the agencies of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Office have seriously, promptly and effectively implemented the resolutions and conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo and the Central Steering Committee on summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18; advised and served the meetings of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee to give opinions on the contents of the Politburo's report as requested; completed 12 tasks, and are continuing to implement 22 tasks to implement the Politburo's conclusions, prepare for the Ninth Session, and tasks on reorganizing the National Assembly's apparatus.
In addition, the agencies of the National Assembly and the Office of the National Assembly have advised and served the Chairman of the National Assembly and Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly to chair many meetings to resolve work within their authority, attend many important events and activities of the Central and local levels, notably the Chairman of the National Assembly chaired and gave a speech at the Symposium on "Digital National Assembly and application of artificial intelligence technology in the digital transformation of the National Assembly", responded to the movement of "digital popular education" under the direction of the General Secretary; deployed tasks to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam as planned; advised on organizing the Standing Meeting of the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation of the National Assembly, etc.
