DNVN - Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat said that allocating resources and solutions to support and encourage businesses to improve their technology absorption capacity and promote technological innovation activities should be considered a key solution so that each business, each industry and the whole economy can improve labor productivity.
At the event "Connecting Technology and Innovation in Vietnam 2024" held on the afternoon of September 30 in Hanoi, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat said that Vietnam is implementing a 10-year socio-economic development strategy for 2021-2030. In which, science, technology and innovation are identified as the foundation for Vietnam's rapid and sustainable development.
In key sectors such as agriculture, construction, healthcare, education and industry, science, technology and innovation are not only the main drivers of productivity and sustainable growth, but also create new business models, enhancing the competitiveness of businesses and countries in the international market.
Minister Huynh Thanh Dat also emphasized the desire to continue receiving the coordination of departments, ministries, branches, localities, businesses and scientists nationwide, in order to allocate resources and provide solutions to support and encourage businesses to improve their technology absorption capacity and promote technological innovation activities. This should be considered a key solution to help each business, each industry and the entire economy improve labor productivity.
In addition, it is necessary to strengthen the close connection between producers, enterprises, localities and research units. It is necessary to focus on building and perfecting the legal system on science, technology and innovation, in order to remove difficulties and create favorable conditions for organizations and individuals to conduct scientific and technological activities.
