Immediately after detecting pests, the Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection directed the staff of the Crop Production and Plant Protection Station to coordinate with localities to organize treatment and prevention.
To ensure high efficiency in the production of the Summer-Autumn crop, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has requested Phu Tho Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited to direct irrigation enterprises to provide enough water for irrigation of rice and other crops; and to proactively take timely measures to drain water when heavy rain occurs.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, there is a risk of many natural disasters in the second half of 2024.
