BTO - Guidance on implementing traceability of products and goods is the main content of the training conference organized by the Department of Science & Technology this morning, October 16. Representatives of relevant departments, associations, establishments, enterprises, and cooperatives with OCOP products and export products attended.
Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Nguyen Hoai Trung delivered the opening speech, emphasizing that the training aimed to equip and update basic knowledge on traceability (TR), the TRC system; help managers, enterprises, cooperatives, and production establishments better understand the role of applying TRC in the production of products and goods; deploy the application of TRC in accordance with current regulations. At the same time, help enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments orient appropriately and apply TRC to the products and goods they produce and trade.
Within this framework, expert Pham Van Quan, Director of Checkee Technology Joint Stock Company, presented the following topics: Current status of TXNG in Vietnam; concepts of TXNG of products and goods according to Vietnamese standard 12850:2019 - general requirements for the TXNG system. As well as some basic Vietnamese TXNG standards; introducing circulars regulating the management of TXNG of products and goods; instructions on building TXNG processes in accordance with national standards. Representatives of Binh Thuan Technical Center for Standards, Metrology and Quality also introduced the application of barcodes in the province.
According to expert Pham Van Quan, the application of the TXNG system is an important solution in digital transformation, which will help bring added value to establishments, enterprises, and cooperatives; help production and business units create new value by providing customers with new experiences; facilitate the export of products and goods, enhance the reputation and brand of establishments and enterprises in domestic and foreign markets. In Binh Thuan, advantageous agricultural products such as dragon fruit, durian, longan, high-quality rice, tragacanth gum, rice, rubber and traditional products such as fish sauce, other processed products that meet OCOP standards in localities in the province need to be promoted by establishments, enterprises, and cooperatives to implement TXNG, build brands for long-term and sustainable development.
