On the morning of May 15, at Thac May Tourist Area, Thach Lam Commune (Thach Thanh), Thanh Hoa Cultural - Cinema Center coordinated with Thach Thanh District People's Committee to organize a training course on restoring and preserving Muong ethnic folk songs and dances to serve community tourism development in 2024.

The training course was attended by 50 trainees who are artisans, grassroots art nuclei, members of the art troupe of Thach Lam commune and some communes in Thach Thanh district.

Within the framework of the training course, trainees will learn key contents (theory) such as: the role and importance of preserving Muong ethnic folk culture in developing local tourism; guidance and development of folk art programs to serve tourists for local art groups, teams, groups, and clubs, especially at community tourism sites.

After the theory part, the students participated in practicing the following contents: Teaching how to play the drums and gongs of the Muong ethnic group; teaching lullabies and Xuong songs of the Muong ethnic group; training in folk art programs and some songs with folk melodies to serve the people and welcome tourists; instructing and practicing staging exchange and interaction programs between artisans and tourists; propagating, introducing and promoting 3 folk arts and cultural products of the Muong ethnic group in Thach Thanh district...
