On June 18, in Xuan Loc commune (Thuong Xuan), Thanh Hoa Province Cooperative Union coordinated with Thuong Xuan District People's Committee to organize a training course to support technical support for raising chickens in the direction of biosafety associated with product consumption.

Overview of the training session.

The training program is part of the Project "Linking chicken farming towards bio-safety associated with product consumption in Xuan Loc commune, Thuong Xuan district" from the capital of Project 2 on diversifying livelihoods, developing poverty reduction models, under the National Target Program on sustainable poverty reduction in 2023. Vinaco Agricultural Investment and Development Cooperative is the project's linking unit.

At the training course, 61 households participating in the project were given knowledge by technical staff on preparing barns, raising chickens in a bio-secure manner, how to control some diseases in chicken flocks, especially some diseases that often occur during the rainy season, and instructions on cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing livestock when an epidemic occurs.

Technical staff guide the process of caring for and protecting chicken flocks in a biosafety manner.

At the same time, be instructed on the preservation procedures of production materials such as: Food, medicine, tools, drugs, and vaccines to prevent diseases for chickens.

Students exchange production experience.

Attending the training course, trainees are also trained in professional skills, improving contract management capacity, and building a production chain linked to product consumption.

Project management staff inspects chicken coops and chicken raising areas of households participating in the project.

Through the training course, trainees are imparted knowledge and exchanged experiences in animal husbandry to apply in actual production. This is the condition for people to effectively promote the breeds supported by the State, increase income and escape poverty sustainably.
