Training to improve professional skills for cooperative managers

Attending the training course were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao - President of the Provincial Cooperative Union; Master Pham Thi Thu Tam - Lecturer of the Southern Vocational College and Cooperative Cadre Training School and more than 50 trainees who are managers and controllers of cooperatives in the province.

Speaking at the training course, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao - President of the Provincial Cooperative Union hoped that through the training course, trainees would have more basic knowledge and skills to support the operation and development of cooperatives. Therefore, she suggested that trainees attending the course discuss and share experiences, difficulties and problems currently faced by cooperatives. Thereby, proposing solutions to help cooperatives in the province operate more effectively and develop more.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao, currently, the Cooperative Board of Control plays an important role in ensuring transparency, accuracy and efficiency in the production and business activities of the Cooperatives. The Board of Control helps the Board of Directors and the Board of Management to manage and operate the Cooperative effectively. Therefore, improving the capacity and professional qualifications of the Cooperative Control Team plays an important role, contributing to innovation and promoting the development of the collective economy in the locality.

At the training course, the trainees listened to Master Pham Thi Thu Tam present a general overview of cooperative inspection and control activities, the role of internal control, the organization of the control apparatus according to the Law on Cooperatives 2023, the duties and powers of the Cooperative Control Board; knowledge, skills, and professional standards for cooperative control officers. In addition, the reporter also provided detailed instructions on the planning control process and practice writing control reports for cooperatives.

The training course takes place over 3 days (from April 23-25, 2025).
