The EUDR Regulation, which comes into force on 30 December 2024, sets strict traceability and accountability requirements for the supply chain of products linked to deforestation.
In Vietnam, key export sectors such as coffee, wood and rubber will be significantly affected by this regulation. Compliance with the EUDR is not only a legal requirement but also a decisive factor in maintaining and developing export markets to the European Union.
During the program, officials of management agencies, small and medium enterprises, cooperatives and actors in the production value chain were shared by experts about the contents of EUDR; the roles and responsibilities of relevant agencies and organizations in implementing solutions to meet this standard.
In addition, reporters and participating businesses also discussed difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process, experiences and solutions for implementation.
