On the morning of June 23, Thai Binh Medical College coordinated with Kangwon University (Korea) to organize a training course on emergency skills for students.
Experts from Kangwon University (Korea) instruct students of Thai Binh Medical College on CPR techniques for cardiac arrest victims.
Nursing students of Thai Binh Medical College are instructed by lecturers and experts of Kangwon University and directly practice the technical procedures and skills of emergency care outside the hospital, in case of cardiac arrest with basic steps such as: Checking the safety of the surrounding environment, checking the patient's reaction and pulse, calling an ambulance for support, performing CPR until the victim regains consciousness or takes them to a medical facility for further treatment.
The training course helps students have good skills, ready to perform effective chest compression techniques to provide first aid in emergency situations such as victims of traffic accidents, strokes, electric shock, choking on foreign objects at home... thereby helping victims have more opportunities to recover their brains and be saved.
