On June 2, the Central Organizing Committee and the Ministry of Information and Communications jointly organized a national online conference to train leaders, reporters, and editors of news agencies and newspapers in 2023 on knowledge about Party building.
Attending the conference were comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; representatives of the Central Organizing Committee, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Central Propaganda Department, and relevant departments and branches.
Attending the conference at Ninh Binh bridge were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Department of Information and Communications, leaders, reporters, editors of press agencies in the province, and representative offices of central press agencies in the area.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training conference, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam said that the training conference had the participation of 1,867 delegates. The conference was organized to help leaders, reporters, and editors of news agencies and newspapers update more basic knowledge about Party building work.
During the 1-day conference, the reporters presented 5 topics. Topic 1: Experience in creating journalistic works in the political genre was presented by Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen Hong Vinh, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, former Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department.
Topic 2: New content on Party building and political system work in the resolutions of the 4th, 5th and 6th Central Conferences (term XIII) presented by comrade Nguyen Duc Ha, former Head of the Department of Party Bases, Central Organization Committee.
Topic 3: Introducing topics, themes, and ways to process information in creating works on Party building and the political system, introducing new models, creative and effective ways in Party building work, presented by Dr. Ngo Minh Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of Party Building Magazine.
Topic 4: Creative skills in creating press photos on Party building presented by comrade Pham Tien Dung, former Editor-in-Chief of Photography Magazine.
Topic 5: Journalists and authors who won the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award share their experiences in creating journalistic works on Party building.
After the training conference, reporters and editors have gained more knowledge and correct, objective approaches to write quality, vivid, and attractive works on the topic of Party building. Focus on innovating information work suitable for each region; always be vigilant against the wrong views of hostile forces; leaders of news agencies and newspapers create all conditions for reporters and editors to propagate Party building work, thereby actively participating in the National Press Award on Party building - Golden Hammer and Sickle Award 2023.
