On August 30, the Provincial Women's Union organized a training conference to guide the operation of "Trusted Address" and methods to support victims of violence for over 250 members of the Management Board, staff operating the Trusted Address, core members and related departments and branches at the commune level.
Delegates were instructed by the reporter on the operation of the "Trusted Address" and methods of supporting victims of violence.
During the training course, delegates were informed and conveyed by the reporter about some contents such as: Legal knowledge related to gender equality; Law on domestic violence prevention; skills in operating a trusted address, supporting victims of domestic violence; skills in identifying domestic violence, skills in approaching, consulting, supporting, stabilizing the psychology of victims of violence and connecting and sending to relevant agencies and organizations so that victims of violence can receive timely support in terms of law, health, and psychology; the role of the Women's Union at all levels and relevant departments, branches and organizations in building, implementing and maintaining the effective operation of the "Trusted Address" model in the community...
Through the training course, it has contributed to improving the capacity of the management team, operating staff, and core members in operating the "Trusted Address" to support and promptly help victims of domestic violence to find temporary shelters, avoid health and life risks, minimize the consequences of domestic violence, contribute to the implementation of gender equality, and promote socio-economic development goals in the locality.
On the same day, the Provincial Women's Union also organized a media conference with the theme "Families are responsible for implementing traffic safety" to raise awareness and responsibility of key officials, members, and women in complying with the provisions of the law on traffic safety and order. From there, become active propagandists on traffic safety in the community, contributing to propagating and mobilizing family members and the community to participate in traffic safety and responsibility.
