The training course aims to equip and update knowledge on food safety monitoring and inspection; knowledge on nutrition, health protection, disease prevention and some necessary professional knowledge, helping to improve the professional quality of the team of military medical officers and staff, meeting the requirements of the task of taking care of soldiers' health.

Participating in the training course, more than 30 military medical officers and staff from agencies and units in the General Department of Politics will study and exchange contents such as: Nutrition to protect health and prevent diseases; risks of contamination in food and identification of some natural toxins in food; some common food poisonings and how to handle them.

For the comrades, military medical officers and staff of agencies and units attending the training course, Colonel Nguyen Quang Duy requested that they promote their responsibilities, focus on studying, fully and thoroughly absorbing the training contents presented by the teachers. On that basis, actively advise and help the leaders and commanders of the units to effectively implement and improve the quality of military medical work, especially the contents and measures on preventive medicine in 2025 and the following period.
