Intensive training on Law and legal documents on Road Traffic Order and Safety

(Hochiminhcity.gov.vn) – On the morning of December 23, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police organized an intensive training course on the Law and documents detailing a number of articles of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety for officers and soldiers in the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police force.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trung Hieu - Head of Traffic Police Department delivered the opening speech of the training course.

Accordingly, this training session will last from December 23 to December 26, 2024, with the participation of nearly 500 officers and soldiers representing the Command Board, officers and soldiers of the Team/Station units of the Traffic Police Department and the Traffic Police Team of the District, City Police, Thu Duc; representatives of the Police Command Board of wards, communes, and towns in charge of order work.

The training program includes 09 topics, specifically: Basic contents of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; New points in traffic accident statistics; New points in the investigation and settlement of road traffic accidents; Basic contents and new points of the Government's Decree regulating the auction of automobile license plates; Circular regulating the issuance and revocation of registration and license plates of motor vehicles and specialized motorbikes; Circular regulating the professional process of issuance and revocation of registration and license plates of motor vehicles and specialized motorbikes; Circular promulgating the National Technical Regulation on license plates; Circular regulating the order, procedures, and certification of technical safety and environmental protection quality of motor vehicles and specialized motorbikes imported, manufactured, assembled, renovated and organized technical safety and environmental protection inspection of automobiles and specialized motorbikes in the People's Public Security...

Overview of the Training Session

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trung Hieu - Head of the Traffic Police Department emphasized that organizing the implementation of the Law and documents detailing a number of articles of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety in a practical and effective manner is one of the key and continuous tasks of the Ho Chi Minh City Police in general and the City Traffic Police force in particular in 2025 and the following years.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trung Hieu requested that trainees participating in the training must be serious and actively communicate and discuss with the reporter to clarify the issue, thereby properly implementing it into the practical work process, contributing to ensuring traffic safety, preventing and reducing traffic accidents and traffic congestion in the city.

It is known that during the training process, in addition to conveying the core content of legal documents in the field of traffic safety, the reporter will spend the program time to discuss and answer difficulties, problems, and issues arising in the process of implementing the Law, ensuring the implementation is synchronous, unified, effective, and efficient. At the end of the training, the trainees will write a report to evaluate the training results.
