Training on social protection policies for people with disabilities

200 delegates who are officials of the Blind Association at all levels were informed of the contents of Decree No. 76/2024/ND-CP dated July 1, 2024 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 20/2021/ND-CP dated March 15, 2021 of the Government regulating social assistance policies for social protection beneficiaries; Circular No. 01/2019/TT-BLDTBXH dated January 2, 2019 of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Ministry of Home Affairs ) regulating the determination of the level of disability by the Council for Determining the Level of Disability. In addition, the delegates were also guided on the procedures for implementing a number of social protection policies for people with disabilities.

Specialist of Social Protection Department (Department of Health ) conveyed some contents at the training session.

Through training, the blind association officials at all levels will be equipped with knowledge about policies for people with disabilities according to the law. Thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of assisting and caring for people with disabilities in the province.
