Along with the commitment to soon deploy the infrastructure of WHA Smart Technology Industrial Park - Thanh Hoa (Hoang Hoa) and WHA Smart Technology 2 Industrial Park in Giang Quang Thinh Industrial Park (Thieu Hoa), WHA Group will study and invest in 2 more industrial parks and 1 new logistics service area in Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province.

On the morning of January 7, Comrade Nguyen Van Thi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with WHA Group (Thailand) led by Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul, General Director of WHA Group, on the development of industrial parks and logistics service areas in Thieu Hoa district.

Starting to explore and promote cooperation since 2019, up to now, with the determination of WHA Group in implementing investment projects, the two sides have achieved good results when the Investment Project for Construction and Business of WHA Smart Technology Industrial Park Infrastructure - Thanh Hoa Phase 1 in Phu Quy Industrial Park (Hoang Hoa) with a land use scale of about 178 hectares was approved by the Prime Minister in investment policy at the end of 2024.

The WHA Smart Technology 2 Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project in Giang Quang Thinh Industrial Park (Thieu Hoa) Phase 1 with an area of 174.9 hectares is also undergoing procedures to be approved in principle.

With the desire to soon form synchronous industrial parks, Thanh Hoa province commits to provide maximum support for WHA Group to carry out the next legal procedures, quickly invest and realize the infrastructure of 2 industrial parks in a synchronous and modern manner with green standards like the existing industrial parks that the group is owning in the world. From there, it will create investment attraction for quality secondary enterprises to Thanh Hoa industry.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi was also pleased to inform the delegation of the positive socio-economic results of Thanh Hoa in 2024. In the context of many challenges, Thanh Hoa is a bright spot of the country in a number of important indicators, such as GRDP growth ranked 2nd in the country; budget revenue ranked 7th in the country. This is a testament to the potential and stable development.

Along with the efforts in reforming the investment and business environment that Thanh Hoa province is constantly aiming for, it will be a favorable condition for enterprises to invest in production and business in the area. To move towards the upcoming cooperative relationships, the Provincial People's Committee also invited to the conference and connected banks and business associations to participate in order to share and hope to realize cooperative relationships in attracting investment and production and business.

Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul added that currently, WHA has more than 1,000 customers who are many large corporations in the world, operating in the fields of: Logistics, automotive industry, petrochemicals, electronics industry, consumer goods, healthcare, textiles... This will be an opportunity for Thanh Hoa to soon receive projects from these multinational investors when the industrial parks invested by WHA are deployed.

Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul expressed her hope that the site of the WHA Smart Technology Industrial Park Project - Thanh Hoa (Hoang Hoa) will be handed over soon in the first quarter of 2025 so that the project can be implemented in the second quarter; at the same time, gradually deploying the promotion of secondary investors.

The General Director of WHA also expressed his gratitude and joy at continuing to receive Thanh Hoa province's trust and the opportunity to study 3 more projects in Thieu Hoa district; at the same time, he committed to immediately deploying survey steps and developing plans to implement the project as soon as possible.

Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul also expressed that in the future, to meet input resources, specifically energy for industrial production, the group will research and wish to invest in Thanh Hoa in a number of projects in the field of renewable energy.

At the conference, Thanh Hoa province and WHA Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation of research and development of Long Duy Giang Industrial Park in the communes of Thieu Long, Thieu Duy and Thieu Giang with an area of about 300 ha - 400 ha; Long Cong Thanh Industrial Park in the communes of Thieu Long, Thieu Cong and Thieu Thanh with an area of about 300 ha; Logistics service area in Thieu Giang commune with an area of about 50 ha.

On this occasion, WHA Group donated funds to build houses for poor households in Hoang Hoa and Thieu Hoa districts, with a budget of 250 million VND for each district for 5 poor households in the area.
