"Currently, the province is aiming to build Binh Dinh into a 'capital' of renewable energy; at the same time, it continues to promote the development of transportation infrastructure, with the view that 'infrastructure precedes development'. In the future, the province also plans to build and implement an urban railway system that connects and uses electricity in its operation. The province's view is that it is always ready to receive and implement new projects. In particular, the province always pays attention to environmental issues in the development process," said Mr. Pham Anh Tuan. Regarding the issues of concern to Vingroup Group, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province, Pham Anh Tuan, assigned the Department of Transport to coordinate with representatives of Vingroup Group to survey locations for installing electric vehicle charging stations in Quy Nhon City and other localities in the province. At the same time, he assigned the Department of Construction to review all urban areas, resorts, and commercial centers and require these locations to install electric vehicle charging stations. Reporting at the meeting, representatives from the Binh Dinh Provincial Department of Transport stated that currently, the province has 269 Vinfast electric vehicles owned by residents; 14 Vinfast electric vehicle charging stations; and 5 charging stations for four-wheeled electric vehicles invested in by various units. Promoting sustainable transportation solutions through the use of electric vehicles and Vinfast's green technology will contribute positively to the implementation of the Action Program on Green Energy Transition, reducing carbon and methane emissions in the transport sector of the province.
