At the signing event, the two parties agreed to cooperate for a minimum period of 12 months, starting from January 2025. The cooperation will focus on developing new experiences, destinations and unique tourism types in Vietravel's products for tourists and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions); as well as discussing co-promotion programs for attractive destinations in Singapore, enhancing value for tourists through gifts, preferential services in tours, and maintaining support policies for incentive groups choosing Singapore as a destination.
Ms. Huynh Phan Phuong Hoang - Deputy General Director of Vietravel, shared: “ Forecasts show that the global tourism sector is recovering strongly. We expect an increase in the number of tourists to Singapore, which has many new destinations and attractive events all year round. With tourism products to Singapore, Vietravel hopes that this cooperation will bring many new experiences and added value to tourists .”
In particular, with the positive signals in tourism development, Vietravel plans to reopen a representative office in Singapore in 2025 and hopes to receive support and connection from STB to develop and promote tourism between the two countries.
During the signing ceremony, Ms. Serene Ng - Chief Representative of Singapore Tourism Board in Vietnam presented Vietravel with meaningful gifts with symbols of the "Lion Island". Vietravel also presented STB representatives with cups recycled from environmentally friendly coffee grounds, demonstrating the commitment to sustainable tourism of not only Vietravel but also the Group in the coming years.
The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement not only affirms the trustworthy partnership between Vietravel and the Singapore Tourism Board, but also represents a joint effort to promote the image of Singapore tourism in Vietnam. Through this, both parties hope to provide high-quality tourism products and unique experiences, making Singapore an attractive tourist destination and the top choice for Vietnamese tourists.
