(Dan Tri) - A representative of Phuc Son Group said that they have signed many "cooperation" contracts for more than 950 land lots at Nha Trang airport (Khanh Hoa province), earning 7,000 billion VND.
On February 19, the investor who bought land in the Nha Trang commercial - service - financial - tourism urban center project (Nha Trang urban area) said that he had a working session with the leaders of Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company (abbreviated as Phuc Son Group) to resolve many unclear issues about the above project.
Nha Trang urban area is developed on the land of Nha Trang airport. Previously, this land was under the management of the Ministry of National Defense.
In 2015, the army handed over the land to Khanh Hoa province for management. Upon receiving the land, Khanh Hoa province handed it over to Phuc Son Group to build an urban area, in return the enterprise had to build 3 traffic infrastructure projects for this locality.

At the meeting, representatives of interested investors asked how many plots of land Phuc Son Group had sold in Nha Trang urban area and how much money they had earned.
The company representative informed that the entire project has more than 1,100 plots of land, so far nearly 960 plots have been "cooperated", with more than 150 plots remaining. The total amount collected from customers through "cooperation" contracts is 7,000 billion VND, customers still owe 3,000 billion VND.
Phuc Son Group believes that the remaining 150 plots of land have an area of more than 9 hectares, estimated to be worth VND18,000 billion (equivalent to VND500 million/m2).
Regarding the content of Khanh Hoa province requesting Phuc Son Group to pay 12,000 billion VND for land use for the project at Nha Trang airport, this enterprise said that up to now, the state has not determined the land price, has not finalized the 3 BT (build - transfer) projects for the company to deduct. However, the company committed to fully fulfill its financial obligations to the state.

According to Dan Tri reporters, 3 BT projects on traffic infrastructure including the Nha Trang airport connection intersection, the belt road connecting Ngoc Hoi intersection and Ngoc Hoi traffic intersection, invested by Phuc Son Group, are still under construction and not 100% completed. The value of the 3 projects is more than 3,300 billion VND.
In February 2024, the Investigation Police Agency prosecuted and temporarily detained Mr. Nguyen Van Hau (aka Hau "Phao", Chairman of Phuc Son Group) for violating accounting regulations causing serious consequences.
This is the result after the Ministry of Public Security investigated the case of Violating accounting regulations causing serious consequences at Phuc Son Group and related units.
After Mr. Hau was arrested, Khanh Hoa almost lost contact with Phuc Son Group.
In July 2024, Phuc Son Group will have a new General Director and will contact Khanh Hoa province again to propose continuing to implement BT projects that the enterprise has not yet completed.
