Striving for a green economy
In the context of Vietnam actively moving towards the goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050, the industrial real estate sector plays an important role in promoting a green economy. Developing green industrial parks, associated with a circular economic model, clean production, no pollution, economical and efficient use of resources is increasingly becoming a mainstream trend that is of particular interest to the Government, investors and businesses.
As one of the industrial real estate developers prioritizing green development, Vietnam Industrial Park Group has set out a green building development strategy, with the goal of striving to achieve green building certification and sustainable development for new projects. Launching the first "brick" for the green journey
The first project of Vietnam Industrial Park Group built according to green building standards is Deep C Industrial Park - Hai Phong (Phase II), expected to start construction on August 2 with the orientation of achieving LEED certification. The project is expected to ensure optimal use of energy and resources, promote sustainable practices with the ability to save up to 25% of energy used, reduce 10% of water used, and significantly reduce carbon emissions compared to traditional projects.
The project is expected to bring many economic benefits to both investors and businesses renting warehouses. At the same time, a green and healthy working environment also contributes to improving the satisfaction and productivity of all employees and bringing positive values to the surrounding community.
LEED is one of the most prestigious green building certifications in the world, developed by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). With the Deep C Industrial Park Project - Hai Phong (Phase II), Vietnam Industrial Park Group has cooperated with one of the leading green building consulting units throughout the design, construction and operation of the project to meet the strict standards set by USGBC. From here, the Group hopes to contribute to establishing new standards, creating a measure of the environment and sustainable development for domestic pre-built warehouse space, as well as the competitive advantage of Vietnam's industrial real estate.
