In particular, the total amount of taxes and fees of all kinds of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Company located in Quang Ngai is the highest among the members of Hoa Phat.

Including value added tax, import tax, import-export tax, domestic tax... with the total budget paid being nearly 7,500 billion VND.

Why did budget payments increase sharply?

The increase in budget contribution is assessed as due to the increase in output and sales revenue of Hoa Phat products compared to last year.

In addition, promoting the Dung Quat project phase 2 requires importing machinery and equipment, so the group has to pay many types of import taxes.

Hoa Phat's budget contribution increased sharply in the first 9 months of the year, also helping many provinces where the company's factories are located to increase budget revenue.

Typically, in Quang Ngai, where Dung Quat Steel Plant and Dung Quat Phase 2 are located, the budget revenue in the first 8 months of the year was recorded at more than 19,500 billion VND, an increase of 18.2% over the same period last year and equal to 76.6% of the year's estimate.

Or in Hai Duong, where Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Factory is located, this province has reached the budget revenue target with over 21,600 billion VND, reaching 110% of the year's estimate and equal to 158% compared to the same period last year.

In Hung Yen, where there are units such as Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Factory, Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Factory, Hoa Phat Refrigeration, Hoa Phat Construction and Urban Development... state budget revenue is estimated at more than 30,000 billion VND, an increase of 26.78% over the same period last year and reaching 93.16% of the yearly plan.

In addition, some provinces and cities where Hoa Phat pays budget also have good revenue.

In Da Nang, the budget revenue is 19,112 billion VND; Long An has a budget revenue of nearly 20,000 billion VND; Binh Duong has a budget revenue of 51,014 billion VND...

Which province has lower revenue than Hoa Phat's budget contribution?

In the first 9 months of the year, the total state budget revenue is estimated at 1,448 trillion VND. Of which, 5 centrally-run cities have contributed quite high revenue. Including Hanoi leading the country with 376,430 billion VND; Ho Chi Minh City has a revenue of 371,307 billion VND. These two cities account for more than 50% of the total budget revenue of the country.

Three other centrally-run cities are Hai Phong with budget revenue of 87,500 billion VND, Da Nang and Can Tho with revenue of over: 19,112 billion VND and 11,727 billion VND respectively.

In another locality with industrial factories, the budget revenue is also "slightly" higher than the budget contribution of this group.

In Ha Tinh, there is Formosa Hung Nghiep Steel Company Limited, with estimated budget revenue of about 13,780 billion VND; in Quang Nam, there is an automobile manufacturing factory, with estimated budget revenue of 14,435 billion VND.

Thus, the budget contribution of Hoa Phat Group is almost equal to the revenue of Can Tho city; nearly 3,800 billion VND lower than Ha Tinh, and nearly 4,500 billion VND lower than Quang Nam.

Compared to many other provinces and cities, this steel manufacturing enterprise's budget contribution is higher than the revenue of many provinces and cities.
