Vietnamese technology group has surpassed 80,000 employees globally

FPT Corporation's 80,013th employee is a research and development specialist in the field of semiconductor chips at FPT Semiconductor Company.

Vietnam is becoming a hot spot for investment in the semiconductor industry, attracting capital and great interest from international businesses. FPT has more than 10 years of research and development of semiconductor chips.

In the coming time, the group said it will step up recruitment in the semiconductor sector to affirm its strategy of promoting the development of resources and capacity in the semiconductor chip sector, contributing to the development of Vietnam's semiconductor technology industry.

Previously, FPT's 80,000th employee was Matsuyama Yutaro, born in 1991, a consultant for FPT Japan. Previously, he studied at Keio University, Faculty of Law - one of the top universities in Japan.

Mr. Matsuyama Yutaro said that after a period of research, he chose FPT Corporation as his career destination because of the open and positive working environment and great opportunities for capacity development. He also hopes to participate in projects for FPT's major partners such as Honda and Nissan in the future.

In the first 8 months of 2024, FPT achieved revenue of more than 39,600 billion VND

FPT currently has more than 80,013 employees working in 30 countries around the world. The average age of the staff is 28, with 6,310 employees working directly abroad. Of these, 3,647 are foreigners with 78 nationalities.

After the first 8 months of 2024, FPT achieved revenue of VND 39,664 billion, pre-tax profit of VND 7,077 billion, up 20.8% and nearly 20% over the same period, respectively. The Group operates in three areas: technology - telecommunications and education with many career development opportunities for talented personnel.
