On February 7, billionaire Elon Musk suddenly appeared on the cover of Time magazine with an image of him sitting at the US president's desk in the Oval Office of the White House.
Time magazine published its latest cover on February 7 with a picture of a person sitting behind the US president's desk (Resolute desk) in the Oval Office. However, that person is not US President Donald Trump but billionaire Elon Musk.
Billionaire Elon Musk
On the cover of Time , the world’s richest man sits smiling and holding a cup of coffee behind a large desk. On either side of Mr. Musk are the American and presidential flags. The image is set against a bright red background.
When asked about the Time magazine cover at the White House, President Trump seemed to send a deeper message into the publication, according to NBC News.
"Is Time magazine still in business? I didn't even know that," Trump said in a video posted on social media. Time magazine named Trump its 2024 person of the year.

The White House owner said he had not read the magazine and praised billionaire Musk for "doing a great job" in "discovering serious fraud, corruption and waste".
The image above is the cover of an article about billionaire Musk written by Simon Shuster and Brian Bennett titled "Inside Elon Musk's War on Washington." The article reads: "Until now, billionaire Musk has seemed accountable to no one but President Trump, who has given his campaign donor a huge mandate to move the government in line with his agenda."
President Trump sanctions the International Criminal Court
The Time article comes weeks after Musk has been pushing to cut government spending in an effort to shrink the federal government. Musk was chosen by Trump to head the Office of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an informal body that aims to fight waste and save money.
