British magazine Time Out ranked Hoi An ancient town (Quang Nam province) 7th in the list of 13 most ideal tourist destinations in July.
When the rains hit Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, savvy travelers to Vietnam tend to head to the central coast, where the weather is dry and warm. "Some of the country's best beaches are in the central region, along with UNESCO-listed cities and stunning national parks," Time Out notes.

Time Out recommends a trip to witness the enchanting Lantern Festival on 19 July in the historic port city of Hoi An, where streets are lined with glowing lanterns and ancient pagodas and assembly halls. British media also recommends venturing out of the city to relax on the white sands around Da Nang, brave the Hai Van Pass on a motorbike tour and visit the ancient capital of Hue before heading inland to see the breathtaking scenery in Phong Nha. Amsterdam in the Netherlands tops the list for its great food, great weather and laid-back vibe in July. Other places that make the list include Greenland, Cape Town in South Africa, Udaipur in India, the South Island in New Zealand, the North West of England, Montreal in Canada, Madagascar, Singapore, the West Coast in North America, Japan and Provence in France. July is the month of summer holidays, associated with freedom, high temperatures and more festivals than visitors can imagine. July is the best time of year for tourists to visit many places in the world, Time Out shares.According to Time Out
