Luong Ngoc village is one of the typical villages of Cam Luong commune that still preserves many traditional cultural identities. Along with the Muong language used in daily communication, Muong women's costumes are often used on holidays, New Year, and festivals throughout the year. Luong Ngoc village also established a gong club. In addition to restoring folk performances to participate in festivals, the club also regularly performs to serve tourists visiting Cam Luong fish stream tourist area. Currently, Luong Ngoc village has about 60 households providing food and beverage services, resorts, and other service businesses. The number of tourists coming to Luong Ngoc village to visit, experience, and relax is increasing. Tourism development has created jobs for more than 300 village workers, with an income of about 3 - 4 million VND/person/year, contributing significantly to improving people's lives, preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.

Mr. Truong Van Tinh, Vice Chairman of Cam Luong Commune People's Committee, said: The commune always focuses on promoting the preservation of national cultural identity in association with tourism development. Currently, many households have the conditions to build stilt houses, purchase equipment to welcome guests; provide tourism services; establish 10 cultural and artistic clubs to preserve and promote traditional cultural values ​​and serve the needs of tourists. Thereby, contributing to building Cam Luong into a friendly, safe, attractive destination for tourists, promoting the socio-economic development of the commune.

Cam Thuy district has a rich system of landscapes, historical and cultural relics, such as: Dieu Son cave (Cam Van commune), Vung Thung mountain cave (Phong Son town), Ngoc temple (Cam Luong commune), Rong pagoda (Cam Thanh commune), Vong pagoda (Cam Giang commune)... Besides, the ethnic people here still preserve many beautiful traditional cultures such as: embroidery, cap sac ceremony, turtle dance, jumping festival of the Dao ethnic group; brocade weaving, singing, gong playing of the Muong ethnic group. In addition, the district also has many unique traditional festivals that are being preserved and promoted by the people, such as: Khai ha festival at Cam Luong fish stream, Chang pagoda festival, Rong pagoda festival, Cung temple festival...

Traditional cultural values ​​and poetic natural landscapes are important conditions for Cam Thuy district to develop tourism. Therefore, over the past years, the district has strengthened the promotion of tourism development potential. At the same time, it has focused on investing in building infrastructure, renovating and embellishing many relics, such as: traffic roads to Cung temple (Cam Tu commune); Muot village communal house (Cam Thanh commune), Dieu Son cave (Cam Van commune)... Historical relics and scenic spots have been restored and embellished effectively, attracting a large number of people and tourists from all over the country to visit, sightsee, pray for blessings and peace, promoting the development of tourism in Cam Thuy district. According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Cam Thuy district, in the first 3 months of 2025, Cam Thuy district welcomed more than 70,000 tourists. Tourism development associated with the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values ​​has met the needs of tourists, created jobs, and increased income for people.

Mr. Vu Duyen Hong, Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Cam Thuy district, said: Identifying tourism as one of the key economic sectors, the district has developed a project to develop Cam Thuy tourism by 2030. Accordingly, Cam Thuy district sets a target of welcoming 812,700 domestic visitors and 2,000 international visitors by 2030. To achieve the above goal, Cam Thuy district is focusing on reviewing and supplementing the development planning of new tourist areas and destinations into the district's general planning. Focusing on doing a good job of propaganda, promotion, tourism promotion and linking with localities, tourism and travel businesses to expand the tourist market. Mobilize and integrate State investment capital sources to develop transport infrastructure connecting tourist destinations in the communes: Cam Luong (Muong community tourism site in Luong Ngoc village and Cam Luong eco-tourism resort), Cam Thach (Dragon Pagoda flower valley), Cam Binh (Rainbow farm, vermicelli making village), Cam Lien (Ngoc Lien village community tourism site, Hich hill eco-tourism and spiritual resort). Pay attention to the work of preserving, maintaining and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic groups associated with tourism development. Focus on establishing clubs and art troupes to preserve cultural identity and serve the needs of tourists. Pay attention to organizing training on performance skills for members of clubs and art troupes to increase attractiveness, meeting the needs of tourists and people. Encourage and create all favorable conditions for investors to survey and seek investment opportunities in the locality, especially in the fields of tourism and services. Strengthen training and improve human resources for the tourism industry; encourage and create all conditions for local communities to participate in and benefit from tourism development.
