The province's economy grew well in the first 3 months of 2025 thanks to the recovery of the industrial sector, especially in some new products in the processing and manufacturing industry, along with the improvement in the construction sector thanks to the promotion of administrative procedure reform, digital transformation, improvement of the business investment environment and the increase in foreign direct investment flows.

In the general growth of the whole province, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector increased by 5.02%; the industry and construction sector increased by 11.0%; the service sector increased by 7.02%; product tax minus product subsidy (indirect tax) increased by 7.02%.
In the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector, the agricultural sector maintained stable growth, pork and poultry output increased compared to the same period last year, aquaculture increased quite well. The added value of the agricultural sector in the first quarter of 2025 increased by 4.84% over the same period last year. The forestry sector increased by 8.61%; the fishery sector increased by 5.19%.
The industrial and construction sector grew better than the same period last year, achieving the highest growth rate among the three sectors. Of which, the industrial sector increased by 11.07%, higher than the 8.60% increase in the same period in the first quarter of 2024.

The processing and manufacturing industry continued to be the main growth driver, with an increase of 10.26%. Thanks to preferential policies to attract manufacturing and trading enterprises in the fields of electronic components, semiconductors, and high technology; at the same time, large enterprises such as Goertek Micrielectronics Vina Co., Ltd. and Merry & Luxshare Co., Ltd. officially came into stable operation, the growth rate of the "Electronics product manufacturing" industry increased 1.74 times compared to the same period.
In addition, heavy rainfall in the first quarter of this year helped improve the hydrological situation, increasing the output of hydropower plants, thus the electricity production and distribution industry grew strongly, with an increase of 10.17%.
The construction industry invested in factories and machinery, achieving an increase of 10.88%, higher than the 7.36% increase in the same period in the first quarter of 2024.

In the service sector, trade, transport and tourism activities continued to grow well, but did not really make a breakthrough and did not achieve the results as planned. The growth of the service sector in the first quarter of 2025 reached 7.02%.
