To speed up the progress of the intersection, there are 5 construction teams at the site, including two teams for constructing cross beams and bridge decks, two teams for casting guardrails, drainage systems, lighting systems and intersection access roads.
"Currently, the teams are working 3 shifts/day and night to ensure the completion of the overpass before March 20. After the overpass is completed, the entire road leading to the intersection will be paved, road markings will be painted and the Du Long intersection will be completed," said engineer Viet.

Speaking with Giao thong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Phung Tien Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Management and Quality of Transport Works (Ministry of Transport) said: Faced with urgent progress, the Department has requested investors and contractors to increase personnel and machinery to speed up construction of items at the critical road at Du Long intersection.
To meet the schedule, the contractor is implementing in the spirit of "3 shifts, 4 crews", completing the upper structure, asphalt pavement, guardrails, railings and traffic safety items at the intersection.
The road connecting National Highway 1 to the highway is being accelerated for roadbed construction.
According to Mr. Vinh, the overpass at the intersection across National Highway 1 and the railway and Vung Mountain tunnel are following the schedule, and equipment and fire prevention and fighting are being installed.
"The investor must complete this expressway by the end of March according to the contract. After the project is accepted, it can be opened to traffic immediately. The ITS and non-stop toll collection items will be tested, after which the investor will collect tolls to recover capital," said Mr. Vinh.
Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway is one of the three North - South Expressway projects in phase 1 implemented under the public-private partnership (PPP) method. The project is 78.5km long, passing through three provinces: Khanh Hoa (nearly 5km), Ninh Thuan (63km), Binh Thuan (nearly 12km), invested by the joint venture Deo Ca Group - Company 194. According to the plan, the project will be completed by the end of March 2024.
