Also attending the conference were: representatives of leaders of agencies and advisory units of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Assembly Office; representatives of leaders of central and Hanoi press agencies.
The conference focused on important contents in information and propaganda work about the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, key contents discussed and decided by the National Assembly at the Session so that press agencies can organize propaganda work well from now until after the session; contents of information and propaganda preparation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Providing information on some propaganda contents about the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Vu Minh Tuan stated that the Session will solemnly open on May 5, 2025 and is expected to close on June 30, 2025 in the form of a concentrated meeting at the National Assembly House. The Session will be held in 2 phases: phase 1 from May 5 to May 28, 2025; phase 2 from June 11 to June 30, 2025.
Regarding constitutional and legislative work, the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office said that this is a Session with a very large volume of law-making work with 44 contents being considered, approved and commented on by the National Assembly, including: considering and deciding on amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; considering and approving 30 laws and 7 resolutions; considering and commenting on 6 other draft laws.

At the session, the National Assembly will also consider and decide on 12 groups of contents on socio-economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues.
The Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office requested that press management agencies and press agencies closely follow and effectively implement the Project and Outline on organizing information and press propaganda work on the Ninth Session.
Pointing out a number of key issues in information and propaganda work about the Session, the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office requested press agencies to increase the time, report accurate, complete and timely news, contributing to the success of the Ninth Session.
In particular, there should be many articles analyzing and evaluating the impact of draft laws and resolutions on social life, people and businesses; reflecting the thoughts, aspirations and legitimate recommendations of voters and people; organizing interviews with National Assembly deputies, experts, scientists and voters; building special pages, columns and topics about the Session.
Focus on reporting in detail on the National Assembly's consideration and decision to amend and supplement a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, opening and closing speeches, results of the Session, and voter contact activities before and after the Session.
Fully and accurately disseminate information on the organization and streamlining of the apparatus; the concluding opinions of the National Assembly Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly chairing the meeting and the opinions of National Assembly deputies.
Focus on disseminating innovations in preparation, conditions to ensure, and methods of conducting the Session such as: shortening the time for presenting proposals and reports, time for questioning and answering questions, and time for discussion in the hall for some draft laws; broadcasting live the discussion session in the Hall on the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
At the Conference, towards the 80th Anniversary of the First General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), the Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office also requested news agencies and newspapers to closely coordinate, actively respond, encourage, and create conditions for reporters to submit works to participate in the 4th Dien Hong Award in 2026 with the theme of 80 years of the National Assembly of Vietnam.
