Suoi Trai Commune, Son Hoa District is where Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant is located. It is a mountainous commune, one of the most disadvantaged areas of the province. Most of the people living in the commune are ethnic minorities, their main income comes from farming and animal husbandry. Life is still difficult, so the path to "literacy" for children is difficult, and learning conditions are still lacking.
It is known that Suoi Trai Primary and Secondary School is currently teaching 265 primary school students who are children of ethnic minority families living in Suoi Trai commune.
Power Generation Corporation 2 cooperated with Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company to present gifts to Suoi Trai Primary and Secondary School.
With its responsibility, Power Generation Corporation 2 cooperated with Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company to implement the program "Following children to school" at Suoi Trai Primary and Secondary School, with the desire to support and bring practical gifts to encourage children to overcome difficulties, continue to strive to study to change their family life in the future, contributing to the development of their homeland.
The program presented 210 gifts, including backpacks, school supplies and milk, each gift worth 500,000 VND and 55 cartons of milk to 55 students.
Nay Ho Tran (8 years old) said: " We are very happy when our uncles and aunts consider giving us scholarships and gifts. With these gifts, our parents will have less worry about school fees and books for the new school year. But the most precious thing is the spiritual gift, our uncles and aunts have encouraged us, helped us to excel, be confident in studying, and fulfill our dreams ."
