At the Temple of Heroes and Martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front, the delegation offered incense to the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the fight to protect the northern border. More than 40 years ago, Ha Giang was a fierce battlefield in the fight to protect the northern border. During that time, about 4,000 officers and soldiers heroically sacrificed their lives. The temple is located at the 468 high point in Nam Ngặt village, Thanh Thủy commune, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province.

Next, the delegation visited a number of schools in Yen Minh district, Ha Giang province to give gifts to disadvantaged children affected by storm No. 3.
Speaking at Sung Thai Primary Boarding School (Yen Minh District, Ha Giang Province), Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Tay Nam affirmed that in recent years, Hanoi has achieved many important socio-economic achievements. Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has contributed to that common achievement, always advising on policies to improve people's lives.
With the spirit of "Hanoi for the whole country, Hanoi with the whole country", in recent times, the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has organized many gift-giving activities in the capital and for the people of the provinces in the northern and central mountainous regions. Despite suffering a lot of damage caused by storm No. 3, more than 3,000 civil servants, public employees and workers of the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Office and 38 affiliated units still voluntarily contributed part of their salary to support people in difficulty after the storm in the city and some localities, including Ha Giang province, the northernmost land of the Fatherland.

Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Tay Nam emphasized that the gift with a total value of 292 million VND is not large but is the heart of the cadres, civil servants, employees, and workers of the entire labor, invalids and social affairs sector of the capital, expressing mutual love with the desire to help disadvantaged children in Ha Giang province affected by storm No. 3 have more conditions to study, overcome all difficulties to complete their study tasks well.
At the program, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Tay Nam presented funds and gifts to children in difficult circumstances. The total number of gifts given to children in difficult circumstances affected by storm No. 3 included: 100 cash support packages, each worth 1 million VND; 100 gifts in kind, each worth 500,000 VND; 221 sets of clothes and 100 sets of student desks and chairs, enough to replace all the old desks and chairs at the schools. The total value is 292 million VND.
