On the other hand, traders in Lao Cai and Ninh Binh are buying live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, the lowest price in the region.
The remaining localities recorded live pig prices at 65,000 VND/kg.

On the other hand, traders in Binh Phuoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang, Bac Lieu, Tra Vinh, and Ben Tre are purchasing live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg, which is the lowest price in the region.
Traders in Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Long An, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, and Soc Trang are buying live pigs at 63,000 VND.
In general, the price of live pigs today increased slightly in some places. Currently, the surveyed price in the provinces fluctuates between 61,000 - 66,000 VND/kg.
The Department of Animal Husbandry said that the total pig herd nationwide by the end of July 2024 is estimated to increase by about 3% compared to the same period in 2023. Farmers are continuing to restore herds and develop production when product prices bring economic efficiency.
This is the premise to promote the stable development of the pig farming industry, ensuring supply at the end of the year.
