According to The Epoch Times, Krishna Butter Ball is a giant rock located in the state of Tamil Nadu, South India, known to many people for its strange position. This rock weighs more than 250 tons, is 6m high and 5m in diameter, located on a 45-degree slope.
The strange thing about this rock is that although it lies on its side on a hill, giving people the feeling that if pushed lightly it will roll down, but it has existed in this position for more than 1,300 years.

In the 7th century BC, a Pallava king attempted to move the stone, but it refused to budge despite all attempts to move it.
In 1908, Arthur Lawley, the Governor of Madras, attempted to move the boulder from the hillside, fearing that it might roll down at any moment and destroy the town at the foot of the hill. Seven elephants were used to move it, but the boulder did not budge even a little.
For the past 50 years, the rock has been called Krishna's Butter Ball. People living in this area are always afraid that at any time the rock can roll and fall down.

Geologists have repeatedly sought answers to the appearance of this rock. They have concluded that it is part of the hill below. It is possible that the mountain is very high, but because the soil in this area is gradually buried and the natural erosion process has contributed to the creation of the precarious rock.
To this day, scientists have not been able to explain what keeps the rock in such a balanced position. It is now an interesting tourist destination in India.
