Taking advantage of the favorable weather, dump trucks and trucks carrying soil and construction materials are operating a lot. However, some vehicle owners do not cover the sides of the truck or cover them improperly, causing soil, rocks, sand and gravel on the truck to fall onto the road, posing a danger to the vehicles traveling behind. In addition, there is dust pollution, affecting the lives and activities of people. On the morning of April 20, on some roads in the city such as Tran Hung Dao, Ngo Quyen, Chuong Duong, Truong Son, Le Van Hien, etc., the situation of dump trucks and trucks transporting mud, soil, and rocks falling and entering prohibited roads rarely occurs.
On Truong Son Road (Hoa Vang District), there were many vehicles on the road. At this time, a working group of 3 officers and soldiers from Hoa Nhon Traffic Police Station was on duty to block and check the vehicles. At about 9:40 a.m. the same day, the working group discovered a dump truck with license plate 43H-122... driving at a speed exceeding the permitted speed limit, so they signaled the vehicle to stop for inspection. Also in the morning of the same day, the unit discovered 8 cases of dump trucks and trucks violating the speed limit.
Meanwhile, Hoa Hai Traffic Police Station arranged 2 working groups, each group of 3 officers and soldiers to block and check vehicles on Vo Nguyen Giap and Ngu Hanh Son streets, detecting and handling many motorbikes violating lane changes. At the same time, during the inspection process, officers and soldiers propagated and reminded drivers to comply with traffic laws. Lieutenant Colonel Phan Quang Phap, Head of Hoa Hai Traffic Police Station, said that recently, the unit has focused its forces, increased patrols and 24/7 control on routes with a large volume of vehicles transporting soil and rock to ensure security and order, promptly detect and handle violations.
Since the beginning of the year, Hoa Nhon Traffic Police Station has organized more than 438 patrols, controls and detected and penalized 1,932 violations, including 147 dump trucks with 13 cases of transporting soil and sand that spilled onto the road, causing environmental pollution and traffic insecurity, 8 cases of entering prohibited roads, 8 cases of oversize, 2 cases of overload... In addition, there were 159 cases of speeding, 63 cases of lane and road violations, 253 cases of alcohol concentration violations. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Trung, Head of Hoa Nhon Traffic Police Station, said that the station organized to grasp the situation, propagate to ensure traffic order and safety and required vehicle owners and drivers to commit to compliance; at the same time, arranged regular forces to be on duty, guide traffic and handle violations.
In the coming time, especially during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the station will continue to maintain and arrange to increase the number of traffic police and technical equipment on duty 24/7 on key routes to promptly support and help traffic participants when they encounter difficulties or have damaged vehicles; at the same time, organize traffic regulation, guidance, and prevention of traffic jams; promptly detect and handle violations to prevent traffic accidents.

According to the Traffic Police Department (City Police), from the beginning of the year, the department has developed a plan, focused on forces and means to handle violations, thereby detecting and handling 54 cases of transporting materials that were dropped on the road. Units under the Traffic Police Department actively and proactively planned patrols, controls, and organized 24/7 duty to promptly detect and handle violations related to the situation of vehicles transporting mud, soil, and construction materials that were dropped and ran into prohibited roads. In addition, combined with propaganda, drivers are required to write a commitment not to re-offend; for units and vehicles that repeatedly re-offend, there will be stricter measures to deter and resolve.
In order to strengthen the handling of environmental pollution in the city, the City People's Committee issued Document No. 2192/UBND-CATP on strengthening the handling of environmental pollution and strictly handling violations of environmental laws. Accordingly, the City Police Department is assigned to preside over and apply synchronous measures, coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize a general review, detect, combat and thoroughly handle crimes and violations of environmental pollution laws in the city.
Specifically, focus on monitoring and handling groups of subjects. At the same time, expand investigation, verification, and determine the responsibility of related organizations and individuals for violations in management, appraisal, investment licensing, construction, exploitation, and use of land and resources; thoroughly, thoroughly, and correctly handle the causes and conditions that give rise to crimes and violations of environmental protection laws.
