In his opening speech, Distinguished Teacher Luong Minh Cu said that Cuu Long University currently has 9 training majors in the field of Health Sciences, including 3 new majors: Traditional Medicine, Dentistry, and Rehabilitation Technology.

The training scale of the Health Sciences sector is about 10,000 students, accounting for about 30% of the total student population of the school. The teaching staff are professors, associate professors, doctors, masters, and specialists I and II.

The school is constructing a building to serve the training of Health Sciences with an investment capital of about 150 billion VND...

The seminar received many enthusiastic opinions from scientists and lecturers of the health sector of Cuu Long University, revolving around the following contents: Training and development of teaching staff (tenured, invited lecturers, lecturers teaching practice at hospitals); facilities: Practice - internship rooms at the school, pre-clinical center, library, simulation center; cooperation with medical facilities (department of health, practice hospital); development of programs, textbooks, learning materials; international cooperation, scientific research, technology transfer; student learning environment.

According to specialist doctor II Nguyen Thanh Truyen, Vinh Long General Hospital has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Cuu Long University since October 2023.
