Strengthening quality control and management of advertising information of food products

Accordingly, the Department of Industry and Trade requested the Provincial Market Management Department to strengthen inspection, control, timely detection, prevention, and handling of violations against establishments producing and trading in fake, smuggled, and unknown origin and origin foods that do not ensure food safety in circulation on the market; focus on inspection and control of food price declaration and listing according to regulations; food advertising activities, especially functional foods on e-commerce trading floors, social networking sites, food introduction and sales seminars; strictly handle acts of declaring, self-declaring food, labeling food, advertising in violation of regulations, etc.

The Department of Industry and Trade recommends that food production and trading enterprises in the industry and trade sector, and multi-level marketing enterprises in Khanh Hoa study and comply with legal regulations in food production and trading activities such as: Law on Food Safety, Decree No. 15 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Food Safety and guiding documents of specialized ministries; Law on Product and Goods Quality; Law on Technical Standards and Regulations and related guiding decrees; Law on Advertising, Decree No. 181 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Advertising, etc.
