Strengthening cooperation between Dien Bien province and Saint Petersburg city, Russian Federation

Dien Bien TV - Continuing the working program in the Russian Federation, on the afternoon of April 17, the delegation of Dien Bien province led by comrade Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, held talks with the government of Saint Petersburg city.

The two sides reviewed the results achieved in cooperation in the past time; at the same time, they agreed to continue promoting cooperation in many specific fields such as: Tourism, medicine, health care,education and agriculture - forestry; in which, tourism and medicine are two priority areas for early implementation. The two localities also agreed to build a coordination roadmap to soon implement delegation exchange activities and organize online conferences at many levels, creating a foundation for strong cooperation in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do gave an overview of the potential and advantages of Dien Bien province in various fields; emphasizing tourism and agriculture and forestry, which are strengths that the province is focusing on developing; and expressed his wish to welcome businesses and investors from the Russian Federation, especially from Saint Petersburg city, to explore investment and cooperation opportunities in Dien Bien province.
