Strengthening fire safety conditions for multi-storey buildings

Kinhtedothi - Hanoi People's Committee has issued Official Dispatch No. 427/UBND-SXD on the issuance of Technical Documents guiding urgent solutions to enhance fire safety conditions for multi-storey houses, multi-apartment houses, individual houses combined with production and business (including houses for rent).

Accordingly, the City People's Committee requests the City's departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns to continue implementing the contents directed by the City People's Committee in Plan No. 200/KH-UBND dated June 29, 2024 on implementing Directive No. 19/CT-TTg dated June 24, 2024 of the Prime Minister on strengthening fire prevention and fighting work for multi-storey houses, multi-apartment houses, and individual houses combined with production and business.

At the same time, agree with the proposed content of the Department of Construction and the City Police on the issuance of Technical Guidance Documents.

The City People's Committee assigned the City People's Committee Office, Department of Information and Communications, Department of Construction, City Police, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to publish the Technical Guidance Document.

Assign the People's Committees of districts, towns, and the City Police to continue to carry out the assigned responsibilities in Decision 32/2021/QD-UBND dated December 30, 2021 of the City People's Committee promulgating regulations on fire safety for individual houses and houses combined with production and business in the city; organize the implementation of Technical Documents according to the assigned tasks in Plan No. 200/KH-UBND dated June 29, 2024 of the City People's Committee.

The City's departments, branches and sectors, according to their functions and tasks, closely coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in implementing the above contents. During the implementation process, if any problems or difficulties arise, promptly synthesize, advise, propose and report to the City People's Committee.

In addition, the City People's Committee assigned the City Police to study and advise on adjusting Decision No. 32/2021/QD-UBND dated December 30, 2021 of the City People's Committee promulgating regulations on fire safety for individual houses and houses combined with production and business in the city. In which, regulations on fire safety for "Multi-storey houses with many apartments" are added according to the provisions of the law on housing.
