Officers and soldiers of Ben Gia Prison (Department C10, Ministry of Public Security) give gifts to poor households.
Through that, the town received support from the Provincial Red Cross Society, agencies, businesses, and philanthropists to donate 100 gifts to poor and disadvantaged households in Long Huu and Hiep Thanh communes, Ward 1 and Ward 2; the total value of the gifts was 30 million VND.
Humanitarian Month 2023 starts from May 1 - 31, culminating from May 8. "Humanitarian Month" has been implemented by the Vietnam Red Cross Society since 2018, contributing to strongly changing the awareness of Party committees, authorities, organizations and individuals towards humanitarian work, creating a large movement of mutual love and support in the community, bringing highlights and outstanding results compared to regular humanitarian activities.
