The task of science and technology is extremely important, so every sector and every person must participate in scientific and technological work to produce more material wealth and to build a victorious socialist society...", over the years, Dr. Nguyen Thi Huyen - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Tourism Culture (Hung Vuong University) has devoted much effort to research and development of culture and tourism; in particular, many of her research topics have made practical and effective contributions to the development of culture and tourism in the locality.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Huyen (born in 1980, Thanh Minh commune, Phu Tho town) is one of the outstanding young scientists of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Tourism Culture (Hung Vuong University). Passionate about tourism and traditional culture research, and deeply aware of the responsibility of young intellectuals in preserving, conserving, and promoting national cultural heritage, Dr. Huyen has dedicated 15 years to education, guiding many undergraduate students in completing their graduation theses, and master's students in completing their internship reports and graduation projects. She has also published numerous in-depth research articles on culture and tourism for scientific and economic journals in the province and nationwide. Furthermore, she has participated in 6 basic-level scientific research projects and 1 provincial-level scientific project on issues related to cultural and tourism development, such as: Connecting Phu Tho tourism with the expanded Northwest region tourism routes. Designing souvenir products reflecting the cultural characteristics of the Ancestral Land, based on the Hung King symbols, to serve tourism at the Hung King Temple Historical Site; researching a model for training tourism human resources in the community in Phu Tho province; producing souvenir products reflecting the cultural characteristics of the Hung King;...

Through her tireless efforts in scientific research and training, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen was honored to receive a Certificate of Commendation from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for her outstanding achievements in education and training at Hung Vuong University in the 2017-2018 academic year; successfully defended her doctoral thesis on the topic "Heritage of Hung Vuong Worship Beliefs in Phu Tho from the perspective of stakeholder theory"; and was one of 57 outstanding Associate Professors, Doctors, Specialists II, and scientific and technological intellectuals honored in 2023 for their significant contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.
