At Bamboo Airways, before taking on the position of Chairman, Mr. Phan Dinh Tue was Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Tue is an experienced leader with nearly 40 years in the fields of economics, finance, banking and corporate restructuring.

Mr. Tue has worked at Sacombank since 2012 and joined the Board of Directors since April 22, 2022. He resigned from the position of Deputy General Director in charge of corporate activities from June 15, 2023.

Mr. Phan Dinh Tue (holding flowers) officially became the new Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways since February 7.

During his senior position at Bamboo Airways, Mr. Tue directly participated in the restructuring process, recording many positive changes in the business model, fleet structure, human resources structure, financial capacity, etc.

The new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways said that he will work with the leadership team to synchronously implement solutions to complete the restructuring project, maintain stable operations, and move towards sustainable development.

Thus, the current structure of Bamboo Airways' Board of Directors includes Mr. Phan Dinh Tue - Chairman; Mr. Le Thai Sam - Permanent Vice Chairman; Mr. Le Ba Nguyen - Vice Chairman; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Trong - Vice Chairman and Ms. Le Thi Truc Quynh - Member of the Board of Directors.

The election of Mr. Tue as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways is part of the process of perfecting the leadership structure, aiming to meet the necessary conditions for the airline's new development goals. In particular, the airline focuses on many goals and requirements, including improving financial health, attracting strategic investors and enhancing competitiveness.

The airline aims to break even by 2025 and gradually increase its operating efficiency in the following years. Bamboo Airways aims to increase its fleet size from 30 to 50 aircraft in the 2026-2028 period, expanding its domestic and key international flight networks.
