To achieve that result, in January, the Town People's Committee deployed a socio-economic development plan with 16 targets and 69 key tasks. The trade and service sector has strongly recovered. Total retail sales of goods and service revenue in the first quarter of 2025 reached VND 4,070 billion, up 22.5% over the same period, reaching 25.1% of the annual plan. The town has implemented solutions to manage prices, check food safety, rectify business order at markets, and encourage the conversion to a cashless market model. Typical examples are Long Thanh market, Tan Chau market and many other units. In the field of public investment, the town has implemented 50 investment projects with a total capital of nearly VND 184 billion, including 9 transitional projects. Urban beautification projects have helped the town's appearance become more and more beautiful and spacious.

“The town has done a good job in social security. Specifically, it gave more than 11,000 gifts worth more than VND4.6 billion to poor and near-poor households on the occasion of Tet; built and repaired 111/151 houses for poor and near-poor households and people with meritorious services.
