(BTNO) - On the afternoon of February 10, the Party Executive Committee of Tan Bien district held its 47th meeting to discuss and unanimously approve many important contents on streamlining the apparatus and arranging personnel in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee proposed to adjust the number of the District Party Executive Committee from no more than 41 comrades to 39 comrades; the number of the District Party Standing Committee from 13 comrades to 11 comrades (reducing 2 positions including the Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee and the Head of the District Police). The structure of the Standing Committee at the commune and town levels for the 2025-2030 term was adjusted from 5 to no more than 7 comrades.

To streamline the organization in the direction of reducing the number of focal points, the district approved the project to merge the Propaganda Department and the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department into the Propaganda Department and the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department. After the merger, the district reduced 1 agency (20%), reduced 1 leadership position and cut 2 positions, from 11 to 9 positions (5.3%).

The District People's Committee rearranged the specialized departments to optimize the apparatus: merged the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs with the Department of Home Affairs into the Department of Home Affairs; established the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Culture, Science and Information; Department of Economy , Infrastructure and Urban Areas; reorganized the Department of Education and Training. This helped reduce 1 more head and 1 deputy head according to the direction from the Central Government and the Provincial People's Committee, contributing to improving the efficiency of management and use of human resources.

The conference also approved the process of adding members to the Standing Committee, ensuring key personnel to effectively carry out political tasks in the coming time.
