Who is the new Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee?

Mr. Quan Minh Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province, has just been transferred and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and appointed to participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 1 for the 2020-2025 term.

This morning (January 19), in Cao Bang, Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

At the conference, the Central Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 1818 dated January 17, 2025 of the Central Executive Committee on the transfer and appointment of the Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision to Mr. Quan Minh Cuong, new Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee.

Accordingly, Mr. Quan Minh Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and ceased to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and was appointed to participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 1 for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the assignment ceremony, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung affirmed that Mr. Quan Minh Cuong is a capable cadre with sharp thinking, scientific working methods, decisive direction, close to the grassroots, and has held many important leadership positions.

Mr. Le Minh Hung requested the Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and leaders at all levels and sectors of Cao Bang province to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, unity, companionship, and support for Mr. Quan Minh Cuong to complete his tasks.

Acknowledging the achievements of the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee in the past, including the important role of former Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Tran Hong Minh, Mr. Le Minh Hung emphasized that the tasks in the coming time are very large and suggested that the new Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Quan Minh Cuong quickly approach the work and immediately start the new task.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung, Minister of Transport Tran Hong Minh and delegates presented flowers to congratulate the new Provincial Party Secretary Quan Minh Cuong.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the new Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, Quan Minh Cuong, thanked and seriously accepted all the instructions and assigned tasks of the Head of the Central Organization Committee.

The new Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee affirmed that this is an important milestone and a great honor in his work and also a great responsibility before the Party Central Committee, the Party Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in Cao Bang province.

Mr. Quan Minh Cuong delivered a speech accepting the position of Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee.

He promised to make every effort, together with the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee and the entire political system in the province, to consolidate the great solidarity and unity, organize the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, and contribute to the whole country's determination to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

On this occasion, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee delegation donated 500 million VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Cao Bang province.

Mr. Quan Minh Cuong was born in 1969, from Nghia Tru commune, Van Giang district, Hung Yen province, with qualifications: Doctor of Law, Bachelor of Police, senior political theory.
