Vietlott ticket winning jackpot of nearly 100 billion VND issued in Ho Chi Minh City

In the 1125th drawing on the evening of November 24 of the Mega 6/45 product, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) recorded 1 lucky ticket winning the Jackpot of more than 96 billion VND. The lucky ticket had the number set: 05 - 18 - 22 - 34 - 41 - 45.

The lucky ticket worth nearly 100 billion VND was issued in District 11, Ho Chi Minh City.

Responding to VTC News the same evening, a Vietlott representative said that the lucky ticket winning more than 96 billion VND was issued at Lot D, Lac Long Quan apartment building, Ward 5, District 11, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Finance, the owner of the winning ticket will have to fulfill the tax obligation according to current regulations when receiving the prize. The lucky customer who wins the jackpot will have to pay 10% personal income tax.

Thus, the owner of the lucky ticket winning more than 96 billion VND will actually receive about more than 86.4 billion VND.

The winner will have 60 days from the date of announcement to claim the prize. After this period, the prize will be forfeited and added to the other income category of the enterprise.

Previously, on the afternoon of November 10, a representative of Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) awarded Jackpot 1 of the Power 6/55 product worth more than 173 billion VND to Mr. LHL and Jackpot 2 worth more than 3.7 billion VND to Mr. LQH.

Mr. L. and Mr. H. are two lucky winners in the Power 6/55 product draw of 951.

Mr. L.'s Jackpot 1 winning ticket worth more than 173 billion VND has the lucky numbers 10 - 16 - 17 - 28 - 37 - 42. Thus, Mr. L will receive more than 156 billion VND after deducting 10% personal income tax.

At 2:46 p.m. on November 10, Mr. L. received this amount in his bank account.

During the award ceremony, Mr. L. also contributed 2.3 billion VND to social security activities.

According to Mr. L., he has been buying lottery tickets for 20 years, even before Vietlott was present in Vietnam. In the past, he bought lottery tickets abroad.

“ The day I went to buy lottery tickets, I bought 3 tickets. For the first ticket, I used my wife and children’s birth dates. For the second ticket, I let the machine choose. For the third ticket, I randomly crossed out the numbers. In the end, the ticket that the machine chose won the jackpot, ” said Mr. L.

According to Mr. L, he will use the jackpot money to do business, help relatives, friends and society. He will control this money very closely and not spend it wastefully.

Mr. L.'s lucky ticket that won Jackpot 1 was issued on Pham The Hien Street, Ward 3, District 8. Mr. H.'s ticket that won Jackpot 2 was issued on Provincial Road 43, Binh Chieu Ward, Thu Duc City (HCMC).

In early October 2023, Vietlott paid the Jackpot prize of the Mega 6/45 product of the 1100th draw to Mr. NT with a total value of more than 37.4 billion VND. Mr. T. is the owner of a Viettel subscriber on the Vietlott SMS application. Mr. T. registered to participate in Nghe An. The lucky numbers that won the jackpot were 03 - 12 - 22 - 30 - 37 - 39.

Also in October 2023, Mr. Nguyen Hoai An (from Dong Nai) also won the Jackpot of Vietlott's Mega 6/45 product worth nearly 14.4 billion VND. Mr. An decided not to wear a mask to receive the prize. Mr. An's lucky ticket was purchased on Hoang Hoa Tham Street, Ward 12, Tan Binh District.

It is also common for Vietlott jackpot winners to not wear masks. However, players only reveal themselves when they win prizes under 30 billion VND.

Vietlott's biggest prize to date is the Jackpot 1 prize of the Power 6/55 product worth nearly VND304 billion. This prize was awarded to a lucky player in Hanoi in 2018.
