A one-way ticket...

It's not a return ticket like those travel deals people usually buy for extra benefits. It's a one-way ticket. People say retirees become billionaires of time, but I prefer the saying, "Retirement is a one-way ticket to relaxation."

How should we use this one-way ticket?

A single teacher, free from the responsibilities of a husband and children. Her retirement days are updated daily on her personal page: some days she sits with her friends for coffee; other days she visits temples to assist with charitable work; and other days she rolls up her sleeves to help out with charity clubs or benefactors, cooking and distributing free meals to the elderly, the homeless, and orphaned children...

On another personal page, belonging to a retired civil servant, are images of vibrant orchid plants, trellises laden with cucumbers, and many kinds of plump, home-grown fruits... All are the result of her meticulous daily care.

That's the different way each person experiences having a one-way ticket. Previously, trips with friends and family were a cycle of excitement, enjoyment during the journey, and a slight feeling of weariness upon returning to their duties; but now, retirees don't have to worry about that return. No longer burdened by the daily grind of work and responsibilities, retirement allows for many ways to refresh oneself and enjoy life in one's own unique way.

Many people would assume that life after retirement is boring and monotonous. This is partly true, as everyone has their own biological clock: before, every morning, people are accustomed to the routine of work, plans, business trips, etc. However, we can completely "adjust" this clock in our own way. Spending time meeting friends, traveling, or simply meeting up to find beautiful spots for photos – pet lovers can find a dog or cat to care for… These new hobbies fill the time that many consider empty and monotonous, and will certainly help improve the quality of life. There are also women who find joy in returning to their roles as homemakers, caring for children and grandchildren so their children can focus on their careers. That is also a source of peace and contentment for many. Of course, conversely, children and grandchildren also need to create conditions and encourage their grandparents and parents to dedicate time to their own hobbies, occasionally taking trips with friends or family vacations to enjoy a fascinating destination together, find relaxation, and have fun during their travels...

The groups for health exercises, yoga, table tennis, chess, etc., organized by retired people, also provide a joyful environment and promote good health, helping everyone maintain an optimistic and cheerful outlook on life.

Retirement is a one-way ticket to relaxation. Knowing how to choose enjoyable activities and adjusting your biological clock appropriately will undoubtedly help those who possess this ticket to enjoy the happiest and healthiest life possible in their years.
