On November 27, information from the Investigation Police Agency of Kim Dong District Police (Hung Yen) said that this unit has decided to temporarily detain 6 young men to investigate the act of disturbing public order.
Those detained include: Nguyen Minh Quan (19 years old, residing in Mat village, Nhan La commune), Do Thanh L. (Dao Xa village, Vinh Xa commune); Ngo Hai A. (Duong Phu village, Chinh Nghia commune); Nguyen Van C. (both 16 years old, Vinh Hau village, Vinh Xa commune); Nguyen Minh P. (17 years old, Luong Hoi village, Luong Bang town, Kim Dong district) and Tran Van H. (17 years old, Dong Ha village, Hung Cuong commune, Hung Yen city).
Group of young people detained by police
Previously, on November 26, the Investigation Police Agency of Kim Dong District Police received a report from Dong Thanh Commune Police, along with a complaint from Mr. Tran Minh Phuong (18 years old, residing in Vinh Tien village, Dong Thanh commune, Kim Dong district). Accordingly, at around 8:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hoang (19 years old, also residing in Vinh Tien village) drove a motorbike carrying Mr. Phuong to the area near Xi bridge (in Vinh Dong village, Dong Thanh commune).
At this time, Mr. Phuong and Mr. Hoang saw a group of young men on a motorbike carrying weapons including pig spears, knives, etc. Although they did not know each other, when they saw Mr. Hoang and Mr. Phuong, the group of young men chased after them and stabbed them with pig spears.

Mr. Hoang drove Mr. Phuong away but was chased by three young men on a motorbike, one of whom held a knife and slashed Mr. Phuong's right hand. Seeing Mr. Phuong injured, Mr. Hoang panicked and drove the motorbike to the edge of the road, hitting a roller shutter door of a house, causing him to lose control, fall off the motorbike, and break his right hand. Mr. Hoang and Mr. Phuong were then taken to the hospital by local people for emergency treatment.
The dangerous weapon that the group of young people used
Initially, the investigation agency clarified that 6 people in the group of young men carried weapons to chase and beat, causing injuries to Mr. Phuong and Mr. Hoang. The investigation agency seized evidence including 2 pitchforks, 1 pig spear and 1 knife.
The group of young men confessed that they brought weapons to "deal with" some strangers who had cursed at them. When they saw Mr. Hoang and Mr. Phuong, the group assumed that Mr. Hoang and Mr. Phuong were also in that group of young men, so they chased after them, stabbed and slashed them, injuring two people.
The Investigation Police Agency of Kim Dong District Police is continuing to fight and expand to handle the behavior of the group of young people according to regulations.
