On November 1, information from the Market Management Department of Thai Binh province said that Market Management Team No. 1 (Market Management Department of Thai Binh province) discovered and temporarily detained more than 3 tons of pork that smelled rotten.

Specifically, on the same morning, Market Management Team No. 1 presided over and coordinated with the Drug and Crime Prevention Team, Cua Lan Border Guard Station (Thai Binh Provincial Border Guard), and the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine to inspect a car with license plate 17C - 134.93 parked in the Chi Cuong village area (Nam Cuong commune, Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province).
Upon inspection, the interdisciplinary team discovered that the vehicle contained 3,220 kg of pork. Most of this was discolored and rancid-smelling pieces of pork. Authorities determined that the vehicle had no temperature monitoring equipment, no refrigeration equipment, and did not meet veterinary hygiene requirements.
The authorities have drawn up a record and temporarily detained all of the above goods for handling according to the provisions of law.
