On November 1st, information from the Thai Binh Provincial Market Management Department indicated that Team No. 1 of the Thai Binh Provincial Market Management Department discovered and seized over 3 tons of pork that had a foul odor.

Specifically, on the morning of the same day, Market Management Team No. 1, in coordination with the Anti -Drug and Crime Team, Cua Lan Border Guard Station (Thai Binh Provincial Border Guard), and the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, inspected a car with license plate 17C - 134.93 parked in Chi Cuong village (Nam Cuong commune, Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province).
During the inspection, the inter-agency team discovered 3,220 kg of pork in the vehicle. The majority of this consisted of pieces and scraps of pork that had discolored and emitted a foul odor. Authorities determined that the vehicle lacked temperature monitoring equipment and refrigeration, failing to meet veterinary hygiene requirements.
Authorities have seized all the goods and are processing them according to the law.
