Tam Duong supports households in especially difficult circumstances to build houses.

The family of Mr. Le Van Sy, Van Sau village, Hoi Thinh commune (Tam Duong) is a near-poor household. He and his wife are old, weak, and often sick. The house his family built a long time ago is seriously degraded, but the family cannot afford to build a new house.

In that situation, in early March 2025, the Tam Duong District Fatherland Front Committee supported Mr. Sy's family with 70 million VND to build a new house. In addition to the support of the District Fatherland Front Committee, Mr. Sy's family also received support from associations, unions, and people of Van Sau village with materials and labor days to build the house.

As the main breadwinner in the family, after a traffic accident, Nguyen Kim Hao's health in Van Tap village, Hoi Thinh commune has seriously declined, losing his ability to work. His father is disabled and unable to work, the whole family of 6 depends on his mother and wife's business, the family's conditions are very difficult. Hao's family lives in a dilapidated, unsafe house.

Faced with that situation, the Tam Duong District Fatherland Front Committee supported Mr. Hao's family with 100 million VND to build a new house. At the end of 2024, Mr. Hao's family was handed over a new, spacious, clean and safe house.

With the spirit of not leaving anyone behind, all levels, sectors and localities in Tam Duong district have actively mobilized resources from philanthropists, businesses, civil servants, public employees, workers and people in the district to join hands to support money and working days to build and repair houses for poor and near-poor households and families in especially difficult circumstances. In 2024, the whole district built 22 Great Solidarity houses.

According to statistics, in 2025, Tam Duong district has 122 households in difficult circumstances, with degraded houses that need to be rebuilt and repaired. The district People's Committee has reported to the provincial People's Committee to consider and support funding to help households repair and rebuild their houses.

Along with that, the Tam Duong District Fatherland Front Committee continues to promote propaganda work so that people, cadres, civil servants and public employees understand the positive meaning of the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" launched by the Prime Minister ; mobilize social resources to support families. In addition to the supported funds, communes and towns mobilize people to help households with labor days and materials to build and repair houses.

The District Fatherland Front Committee focuses on inspecting and supervising the mobilization of resources to support the construction of houses for poor households to ensure transparency, democracy, and the right beneficiaries, avoiding waste; coordinating with local authorities to inspect and correctly assess the current situation, classify beneficiaries, and clearly determine the level of support funding.

From the beginning of 2025 to present, the Tam Duong District Fatherland Front Committee has coordinated with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the District People's Committee and communes and towns to appraise and support the construction and repair of 13 houses for poor, near-poor and extremely disadvantaged households with a total amount of more than 700 million VND.

Not only paying attention to supporting the construction and repair of houses for poor households and households in difficult circumstances, the Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Duong district and its member organizations also actively mobilize and promptly support households in difficulty due to relatives suffering from serious illnesses, accidents, natural disasters, floods, etc.

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the Tam Duong District Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations will continue to call for and mobilize contributions to build and repair more Great Unity houses for poor, near-poor households, and households in especially difficult circumstances, contributing to the effective implementation of social security policies in the area.
