After receiving feedback from public opinion and the press, the People's Committee of Vinh Loc district moved the stone plaque with the words "Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa" out of the national historical site Nghe Vet.
Previously, on April 7, social networks were abuzz with information about a stone plaque at the national relic Nghe Vet, in Vinh Hung commune, Vinh Loc district, containing incorrect content.

After reviewing the project documents for restoration, embellishment and promotion of the historical and cultural relic of Vet communal house, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa said that the stone plaque with the above inscription is not included in the relic restoration project.
The plaque was built and installed by an individual at the national relic Nghe Vet.
Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism affirmed that the locality's arbitrarily accepting donations and installing the above-mentioned monument nameplate is a violation of the provisions of Article 32 of the Law on Cultural Heritage.
To resolve the incident, the professional department of Vinh Loc District People's Committee conducted a field inspection and determined that this stone plaque was erected in front of the entrance gate to the national relic Nghe Vet at the end of 2020.
The sign was donated by Mr. NHĐ. - the contractor for the restoration and embellishment of the monument - to serve as a signpost to the monument.
On the afternoon of April 7, Vinh Loc district authorities dismantled and moved the signboard "Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa" out of the national relic Nghe Vet, returning space and landscape to the relic.

Regarding the incident, on the morning of April 11, speaking to the press, Mr. NHĐ. - the contractor for the restoration and embellishment of the national relic Nghe Vet (since 2020) - said that he did not donate the stone plaque with the words: "Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa".
"I am not the one who donated, what the district said is wrong, donating must indicate the date of donation and who received it" - Mr. NHĐ. affirmed.
According to Mr. NHĐ., he will soon send a document to the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province and the People's Committee of Vinh Loc district to clarify this matter.
Mr. Cao Van Binh - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Vinh Loc district, said that he had verified, clarified, and had grounds that the stone plaque with the words "Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa" was erected by Mr. NHĐ at the national relic Nghe Vet.
