On April 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport and Public Works issued a notice restricting trucks from entering the inner city of Ho Chi Minh City during the April 30 celebration.

During the April 30 holiday, many truck routes are banned from traffic during specified hours.

Accordingly, the routes that trucks are prohibited from entering during the celebration days include Do Muoi, Le Duc Anh, Le Kha Phieu, Nguyen Van Linh, Phu My bridge approach roads, Vo Chi Cong, Nguyen Thi Dinh, Dong Van Cong, Mai Chi Tho, Vo Nguyen Giap, and Hanoi highway.

The ban on trucks is to ensure security, order and traffic safety for the grand ceremony.

Accordingly, on April 25, trucks will be banned from traveling on the above routes from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; on April 27, trucks will be banned from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; and on April 30, trucks will be banned from 4:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

On these routes, there will be traffic police checkpoints to guide and direct trucks to change direction, so drivers of these vehicles must follow the instructions of the traffic police or the instructions of the traffic signal system on the road.
